At GRD, we drive research on innovative dialysis devices and turn it into reality.To deliver solutions that are continuously optimized and tailored to meet patients’ specific needs, we develop IoT-supported diagnostic methods and evidence-based, individualized treatment methods. Program project managers are responsible for complex system development projects in conjunction with our global treatment program. As the leader of an interdisciplinary team, you will be in charge of the project planning and implementation, while simultaneously continuously optimizing processes, methods and tool selection. You will manage stakeholders just as effectively as you manage possible project risks. As a mentor and thought leader, you will support colleagues and share your expertise.
Engineering project managers are our experts for projects in the Global Digital Solutions division or R&D projects in the Medical division. As the head of your project team, you’ll manage all project phases from conceptualization to product launch and correctly assess possible project risks. You will engage in dialog with the project team members and make decisions, always focusing on the project objectives and your team.
Whether unit tests, regression tests, hardware in the loop or other test methods, as a verification engineer you will select the appropriate procedure to detect critical weaknesses in the software of our dialysis machines. You will be responsible for the test environment. With your test strategies and plans you will ensure that malfunctions are resolved promptly, thus continuously improving the quality of our software programs and systems.
As a mechanical engineer, you will develop the mechanical components, assemblies and functions of our medical devices until they are ready for series production. You will design the construction system, write the requirements specifications and implement prototypes. Engineering tests as well as corrective and preventive actions will be part of your daily work. With your strategic thinking you will support the expansion of the development environment.
Our software developers use C/C++ to write the programs for our dialysis machines. They select the tools used to develop the software and support the software architects in designing the right components for our systems. Whether with source code or unit tests, with your outstanding programming you will help to ensure that dialysis patients can be safely treated.
As an agile coach, you will support our project teams in selecting and implementing appropriate agile methods for various areas of development. You will supervise and moderate meetings and workshops, including sprint planning meetings, reviews and backlog refinements. Project managers and product owners can rely on you when it comes to achieving the project goals even when the requirements change.
